Our 3rd annual event featuring BOTH local Breweries AND Wineries!

Enjoy a fun evening of tastings at this lovely waterfront venue (near Ray's Boathouse) ! Enjoy tasting wines from 12 Northwest Wineries and 12 Breweries and get a plate of delcious BBQ! Wines from the featured wineries will also be available for purchase after the tasting!

About Expedition Inspiration

Expedition Inspiration was conceived as a tribute to the courage and determination of breast cancer survivors and to the memories of the thousands of people whose lives were cut short by the disease. Breast cancer survivor Laura Evans and premier international mountain guide, Peter Whittaker, founded the organization.

The Expedition Inspiration Fund for Breast Cancer Research raises awareness and monies to benefit breast cancer research, public education and patient support.  Through sponsored outdoor endeavors, Expedition Inspiration also promotes the physical and mental well-being of breast cancer survivors. Funds raised at this event will support the UW Medical Center Breast Care and Cancer Research Center (www.seattlecca.org) located at the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance.

SEXY SYRAH - Fundraiser

Syrah is the hottest grape on the wine scene today, and the Northwest is becoming famous for producing a wide variety of these lush, spicy wines.  Syrah will seduce enthusiasts who like rich bold wines, and Salty's chefs will entice your tastebuds as well with appetizers designed to showcase Syrah's outstanding affinity for food!

SUNDAY SIP - Fundraiser

Niles Country Club ~ 3:00 - 6:30 pm ~ $50

Join the Lakeforest Park Rotary in their annual Sunday wine tasting event to raise money for the Rotacare Free Health & Dental Clinic. Enjoy tasting wines from 12 Northwest wineries and nibble on some appetizers! Wines from the featured wineries will also be available for purchase after the tasting!

BAGS & BOTTLES - Fundraiser
SUN. MARCH 9, 2008
W Hotel - Seattle ~ 4pm- 7pm ~ $35

Experience a new wine tasting & fashion event concept at the swanky confines of the W Hotel in Seattle on the afternoon of Sunday March 9th. This exciting event is similar to our extremely popular sold-out "Sips & Shoes" event last November.  If you love purses, handbags, and wine, you'll love "Bags & Bottles," and also help raise money for Gilda's Club of Seattle, which is for the families of Cancer Victims, founded in honor of Gilda Radner after her death from ovarian cancer.

Women who attend this fundraiser are encouraged to bring a new or almost new purse for the silent auction portion of the event. Tables in the middle of the ballroom displaying 300 of these bags. The perimeter will feature a host of boutique stores with their most current bag & purse designs on display and 20 Northwest wineries pouring an array of their delicious wines!
