Planning Your Wine Event- Charity Fundraisers
While some charities want to simply upgrade their events, many others contact Wine Events to build a brand new event from the ground up. We work with them to help shape their vision and create a workable plan. Wine Events also creates a series of "signature" wine-related fundraisers that annual events for specific charities with an established theme.
Our signature events are: BAGS & BOTTLES- March SEXY SYRAH- April While Syrah is one of the hottest varietal's today, we have been producing Sexy Syrah for 7 years. This event quickly sells out every year and features 40 wineries who produce Syrah. A very popular event, it is held at Salty's in Alki in West Seattle, and raises money for Farestart. Click here for this years event. SUNDAY SIP - April Wine Events works with a variety of Rotary Clubs to help raise money for their favorite charities. This event is a mid-size event featuring a dozen boutique Northwest wineries to raise funds for the Lakeforest Park Rotary. In it's 2nd year, this organization had never been invloved with wine tastings & is now building a successful annual event for themselves with the assistance of Wine Events. SIP FOR A CURE - May Breweries and wineries rarely do events together, but they do in this unique fundraiser for Expedition Inspiration. Featuring a dozen of both, this fun event offers something for everyone in a casual setting at the Shilshole Bay Beach Club in Ballard, WA. To see more information on this years event click here. DEBUTS & DISCOVERIES - June Origanally titled the Boutique Winery Showcase, this event has grown along with the Washington Wine Industry and is now titled Debuts & Discoveries. In it's 7th year, this fundraiser features wineries and restaurants in their first 3 years, and helps enthusiasts try to keep up with what's new and exciting. The event is a fundraiser for, and held at MOHAI, Seattle's Museum of History and Industry, the perfect setting to discover what's new with the backdrop of Seattle's past. BALLARD SEAFOOD FEST WINE GARDEN - July The Ballard Rotary and Chamber of Commerce hired Wine Events to create a successful, dynamic addition to this annual festival. The Wine Garden features 6 different NW wineries on both Saturday & Sunday, as well as a "wine bar" within the garden, which has helped expand the Festival by adding premium restaurants who want to be near the wine garden. LITTLE ITALY - October Seattle's Children's Home has been the beneficiary of this event for 4 years, which is a celebration of everything Italian. This annual event features exclusively Italian restaurants and wineries, as well as Northwest wineries who produce Italian varietals such as Sangiovese, Barbera, Nebbiolo, etc.
